Take a huge step forward as a plant-based home chef  or master italian vegan recipes like a pro! Join us for an online 7 days professional course and learn: plant-based cuisine fundamentals, knife skills, macrobiotic philosophy knowledge (in terms of good food combinations and food energies),  how to make ingredients from scratch (plant-based milks, Seitan, Tofu..) and most famous italian vegan plant-based recipes (Pasta, Pizza, Savory pies, italian Pastry..). Lots of our students, after attending this professional program found a job in the vegan industry or opened their own vegan organic business.

During our hands-on recreational classes, we focus on healthy lifestyle tips and try to encourage people to eat better.

We offer Certificate trainings and Professional Courses from 3 to 7 days. These programs are open to everybody and you do not need to be a professional chef to join them. This is our most requested educational course. Our school was the first one in Europe to run an Organic Vegan Pastry certificate program. Our 7 days course is full of fundamental italian pastry techniques: learning perfect vegan dough for cakes and baked desserts, learning how to make a vegan Gelato, making perfect sponge cakes and custards without eggs, improving decorations skills and much more...

7 DAYS ITALIAN VEGAN FAST FOOD

This master course is a journey

into the most famous italian

recipes for parties and traditional take-away meals. You will be

fully involved during the

preparation of the famous

sicilian Arancini, neapolitan

fritters, hamburgers, pizza,

piadina, sausages, salami,

mozzarella cheese... and everything is plant-based and made from scratch! This is a useful training program either if you are only passionate to vegan cuisine or want to work as a Chef into

organic vegan cuisine world. 

 

A certificate is included in the end.


6 DAYS FOOD THERAPY COURSE 

Our 6 days Food Therapy course consist in theorical and practical days about healthy, macrobiotic vegan foods, following ancient traditional Japanese philosophy of Yin & Yang energies,  5 elements from traditional chinese medicine with connections between organs and seasons, seasons and flavors, cooking techniques and food energies. This program is very helpful to prevent and cure

sickness or bad healthy conditions through healthy food handled

in their best way. 

The food therapy program is a full immersion into macrobiotic philosophy and oriental medicine suggestions through healthy food. A certificate is included.

After your graduation as a food therapist you will be able to make consultancies to help sick people or design healthy menus to cure specific pathologies.

TAILOR MADE COOKING CLASSES - HOW TO JOIN US ONLINE STEP BY STEP:

1. Click on the "ASK FOR A CLASS" button below. You will be redirected to your email provider. Send us an email with: Preferred topics/recipes + Number/Name of participants + Date and time when you want to attend + Any other question!
2. You will receive an email with a class proposal, then a list of ingredients and payment method.
3. Once payment will be made we will send you an invitation by e-mail, containing a link to connect with us.
4. Prepare your phone or laptop before the session. Open the video call with the link on the device.
5. Enjoy!

After sending a booking request, we will keep in touch to define the menu details and list of ingredients.

ABOUT US

 

Marina and Stefania, mother and daughter, are the owner's of Gioia di Vivere Cooking School, a non profit organization, set in a warm and traditional tuscan farm surrounded by nature in Lucca town.

 

Marina is a 40 years experienced chef of healthy and organic cuisine. From 1976 she studied vegetarian cooking techniques and, few years later, macrobiotic cuisine with Michio Kushi. Then Marina run three restaurants in three different italian cities. In 1992 she founded her cooking school to teach healthy cooking fundamentals techniques and plant-based recipes, plus the importance of   how food significantly affects our physical, mental and spiritual well-being.  From  more than 20 years she focused on healthy vegan cuisine. 

 

Stefania is a chef  trainer at Gioia di Vivere Cooking School from more than 10 years. She became a popular foodblogger in 2014 and a year later, after a long trip in New York city and a food workshop in Firenze she started to run Gioia di Vivere's vegan classes in english version.

 

In their cooking school only organic, seasonal, whole, balanced, fresh and delicious food exist and students learn the secret of italian recipes in an healthy and balanced vegan version.
